Mission
Statement
To aid the Nation in reducing its dependency on foreign oil by using
Networking Technologies to replace the typical single driver
commuting practices of the general workforce of the United States.
To meet this goal, we propose a national Telecommuting Program that
marries the foundations of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) , Department of Energy
(DOE) , Department of Agriculture (USDA) , Department of
Transportation (DOT) and many sub agencies inside the Federal
and State Governments. The net result of the effort will radically
reduce road congestion, reduce auto emissions, and reduce long term
costs associated with energy and farm subsidies.
A national
Telecommuting program allows for proactive fuel consumption
management that may have positive impacts for gasoline pricing,
potentially lower Automotive Insurance, have a positive influence on
water management programs by lower demand on our major aquifer
systems .Finally a national program can radically alter carbon emissions and air pollutants for environmental initiatives
and lower Energy Bill subsidies to sequester CO2 gases.
Wise use of scare resources is everybody's business.
